College and Career Indicator

Canyon High School would like to recognize our seniors who are deemed prepared as set forth by the State of California with a cord to wear at graduation. The College and Career Indicator (CCI) is new and replaces the old API. This will in no way impact graduation status or college entrance status.

State definition of "well prepared" pending

If any classes taken at the community college are not posted on your CHS transcript, you are not being recognized as meeting the Dual Enrollment criteria by our software. If our records are not accurate, please meet with your counselor to share your college transcript and update the data.

If you are interested in taking a dual enrollment class, remediation class, or a CTE class next semester to fulfill requirements and receive a cord, please meet with your counselor.
