Welcome Canyon Faculty and Staff,
The Canyon PTSA is looking forward to supporting our high school through the 2020 curriculum grant program. This program awards funds to faculty and staff for educational materials or equipment not usually provided by the school, district or state. Here are this year's application guidelines:
- Applications will be accepted Monday, November 2nd through Monday, December 7th, 2020.
- Grant recipients will be notified by Monday, January 18, 2021.
- Grant funds must be spent by Saturday, April 17, 2021.
- Applicants MUST be a current member of Canyon PTSA.

- ONLY one application may be submitted per person either as an individual or as part of a school team.
- Registration guidelines must be followed for any items received as they will be considered property of Canyon High School. A PTSA fiduciary agreement will be completed and returned to the Canyon PTSA treasurer for any grant funded electronics, hardware, software and other equipment. These items must also be registered with a barcode through the school librarian and returned to the library at the end of the school year. Before a grant is awarded, the applicant must ensure it is compatible with the district network.
- A PTSA committee will review applications and award grant funds based on the total number of applications received, past grants received, clearly stated implementation plan that describes educational value, number of students impacted and how classroom experiences will be enhanced, as well as the total budget allocated from PTSA's funding sources. Tools needed for distance learning will be strongly considered. Personal protective equipment, paper products and cleaning supplies are not eligible at this time.
- Canyon's Principal will review all applications after submission and before PTSA grant committee review.
