Elizabeth Fisher has been teaching at Canyon High School since 2012. She is a graduate of National University where she earned her teaching credential (1992).  Mrs. Fisher went on to earn her English Credential (1992), Administration Credential (1994), and CLAD Credential (1996) from National University. She also earned her Library Media Specialist Credential from Azusa Pacific University (2014). Mrs. Fisher is Canyon High School’s Library Media Specialist. She earned Teacher of the Year at Nohl Canyon Elementary School (2007) and was named Orange County Register’s Writing Teacher of the Year (2000, 2001, 2002). Also, Administrative Choice Award named Ms. Fisher Most Outstanding Teacher (2012). Her favorite parts of Canyon High School are the kind students who work hard and like to have fun, the Library Volunteers, and the Library Media Students. In her spare time you may find her with her family, traveling, swimming, gardening, or reading. Ms. Fisher is a graduate from Canyon High School Class of 1976 and was the first person to earn the William Glitzman Award. She is one of the “Top 20” committee members who selected the school’s name, colors, and mascot before Canyon High School was built. She is proud to be a Comanche.
